Sea Cave Zawn/Fallen Block Zawn, Rhoscolyn

Where there is a sea inlet, cut by erosion, a Zawn can be found. I’ve just had a great day climbing with Frenchy (aka Mike Byrne) on the sea cliffs at Rhoscolyn, Anglesey. We initially climbed ‘Symphony Crack’ in the Sea Cave Zawn area, to then go on to climb ‘Baggers Crack’ in the Fallen Block Zawn area. The sun shone for most of the day and the climbing was good, with the only downside being sunburnt legs - Ouch! On several occasions I felt like jumping into the sea.
