Despite the fallen block, the rock on the main wall is both clean and compact. Put simply, 'Fallen Block Zawn' is a concentration of hard climbs on quartzite. Strictly speaking, the amphitheatre of Fallen Block Zawn adjoins to
Llawder’s Red Wall. It is therefore possible, at low tide, to sea level traverse along Llawder’s Red Wall, to access the base of Fallen Block Zawn. Alternatively, the base of Fallen Block Zawn can be accessed by way of a steep gully on the other side (possible abseil). The climbing routes on Fallen Block Zawn are no more than 45m in length.
