In order to avoid the midday sun, Vinny and I had an early start on ‘Fine View Wall’ at Castle Inn Quarry. The approach to 'Fine View Wall' is ideal (approximately one minute from Castle Inn car park). In regard to the climbing, there are a mixture of both sports climbs and traditional climbs, with the traditional climbs following the natural crack systems. We opted to climb the traditional routes (‘Mynydd Marian’, ‘Pioneer Cracks’, and ‘The Walking Furnace’), which were all good value.
