It turned into a rest day. I went and visited Parisella’s Cave, only to discover that the routes demanded pure strength, which I didn’t have. The easiest route was V3, which wasn’t in the cave, but around the corner, out of the way. I watched some climbers going well in the cave and it was good to see what is possible.
I then went for a walk along Marine Drive, which is near to Parisella’s Cave and above Lower Pen Trwyn (LPT). There is a lot of steep rock to climb, which looks technical and sustained with perhaps the added pressure of a big setting.
