For those who like an adventure, Castell Cidwm is the place to be. This micro granite crag is imposing, complex, and steep. At the bottom of the crag is a gushing stream (almost a waterfall) that meanders into Llyn Cwellyn, adding to the atmosphere.
The climbing on the face per se looks technical and challenging, with the routes being in the higher grades. There are no obvious lines at first sight, apart from the Joe Brown classic ‘Dwm’, which boasts a roof.
