Llynnau Mymbyr is surrounded by several micro craglets. Today we climbed on two of them; namely ‘The Blocks’ and ‘Clogwyn Wen’.
'The Blocks' is an unmistakable craglet (see photographs 1, 2, & 3 respectively). Here, we climbed Slab & Crack, VD, Chatterbox, S, V-Groove, S, Ginnel Wall Right Hand, HVS 5b, Evan’s Corner, VS 4b, and Blockhead, S 4a.
We then walked over to 'Clogwyn Wen'. 'Clogwyn Wen' is a clean, compact buttress, and is steep (see photograph directly below). Direct Route, HS 4b, was good value climbing and finished off an enjoyable day.
