Probably one of the ten best lines on gritstone. The word 'flare' hangs over the route like a ghost, describing not only the rejectile, all-sloping dimensions of the winking chasm itself, but the skill and aplomb with which it must be climbed. Get everything right and the grade will seem just about fair. Climb it badly and expect to be punished. Peapod, a Curbar special.
