Ogwen Boulder Bank | Snowdonia National Park

The ‘Ogwen Boulder’ at Ogwen bank has good rock that is similar in nature to "Braichmelyn Boulder". The boulder is split by two cracks, which are the warm-up routes and can be climbed from sit-down starts. The outstanding line on the boulder is ‘Tavistock Square’ V6/7/7a/+, which climbs a line just right of the central crackline. ‘Tavistock Square’ begins with a sit-down start (left hand on the arête & right fingers curled in the obvious flake) to then slap up to a hold out right (extended move), which then climbs to better holds and the top.
